Simon Bryant

Owner/Director
Simon grew up in Tauranga, and served his apprenticeship with a major electrical contractor. After 6 years employment Simon decided it was time to broaden his horizons, and worked on various projects around NZ. Simon then travelled overseas for 4 years. On returning home at the end of 1999, he took up the position of site manager for Aotea Electrical in Auckland. An opportunity arose three years later, and with two associates he formed Future Electrical Ltd and grew the company to twenty seven staff, while working on some prestigious sites throughout Auckland including : the Sky Television building upgrade, Sacred Heart College new technology block, Parks on Domain luxury apartments, and Lighter Keys stage two apartment complex. Simon and partner Emily decided to return home to the Bay of Plenty having gained substantial business experience. Seeing the growth opportunities available in the bay, they chose to establish another business and formed Eclipse Electrical Limited in July 2005. Simon and Emily have 3 children and are actively involved in the community. They are members of the Omanu Surf Life Saving Club and have been involved in WaiBOP Football for around 8 years.  Simon and Emily both coach and are committed to help promote footballs profile within the bay.

James Grimstrup

James is originally from Wellington and has been with Eclipse Electrical since 2011. He originally qualified as a carpenter before choosing to pursue a career as an electrician. James is a well-respected member of our team. He has outstanding work ethics and always provides a friendly professional service to our clients. On a personal note James loves spending time with his wife Rachael and their 3 children. When time permits he enjoys hunting.

Joel is a valued member of our team and connects well with clients with his quiet friendly manner. Joel loves sports and is involved with rugby, darts and surfing.

Jay Gardiner

Jay is a local and completed his schooling at Tauranga Boys College. He then moved to England to pursue a career in rugby in 2018. Jay has now come home to start a career in the electrical field. He is self-motivated, loyal and is keen to learn and try new things. Sports has been a big part of his life, especially rugby, which he plays through winter, as well as rugby 7’s through summer. When Jay is not working or training he enjoys spending time with family and friends, making the most out of everyday.
